Well the end of term is almost upon us and what a term it has been. Who would have thought that this time last year we would have ever been using words like ‘social distancing’ with our children?
I know it has not always been easy since March, but together we have all worked our hardest and absolute best as staff and parents/carers to ensure that your children continued to attend school at this difficult time and, as a staff, we would like to say a big thank you.
I know that, as parents/carers you have all been worried at times, about your children, your families and yourselves, but I just wanted to say that your support and understanding for the job we have to do in school has always been greatly appreciated.
We are strongest when we work together and, after speaking to colleagues in other schools, I believe that we are truly lucky to be part of the Loxdale community- the Loxdale family.
As the end of the year approaches, we look forward to 2021 and the hope of a vaccine that will signify a new beginning for us all and a time where we can welcome everyone back into school once again, together as a community.
However, in the meantime, I wish you a happy and peaceful holiday and my very best wishes for the New Year ahead.
Take care everyone and stay safe – we are very nearly there.
