Coronavirus Update

Dear Parents/Carers, The next few weeks are probably going to be very trying times for us all. As things get more difficult, you may feel worried and your children may be scared of things they have seen or heard on TV. Arguing with your children to do their work is not the stress you need right now. We will provide work, but please do not worry if it is not done. Instead, spend time together, read together, do a puzzle, build a castle, bake a cake, watch TV together, paint or set up a tent in your living room and camp out! Don’t worry about the children forgetting their tables or their spellings or their long division and don’t stress about having to home-school them. Just spend time together, be together as a family and take care of each other. Though this is a scary time, your children may well remember this as the best time that they spent together with you as a family. Tomorrow, the Local Authority will be meeting to decide a plan for the way forward and we will share that with you as soon as we know what is happening or likely to happen with childcare provision and school meals etc... I just want to say to you that we will be here for you all, as long as we can be, for whatever childcare you need. We just ask for your patience and understanding while we try to provide the best service possible, for whoever needs our support. We will do whatever we can to help. Thank you, as always, for your support during these uncertain times. Take care, Mrs Scott Headteacher
