NEW Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Provider serving Bilston East
There is a brand new HAF provider inviting benefits-related Free School Meals recipients onto its FREE Christmas sessions.
Tipton Sports Academy, whose immediate catchment area includes Rocket Pool and Bradley, has expanded its successful Sandwell HAF programme to include Wolverhampton neighbourhoods.
A spokesperson said: "We have plenty for your children to get stuck into with various sports activities such as tennis, football, basketball, athletics, dodge ball, team games and more, all delivered at our award-winning facility. Children can access healthy fruit, snacks and drinks throughout the day and will be provided with a healthy lunch."
Aimed at young people aged 8-16, the Sports Academy's Christmas programme kicks off on 19 December. Email michelle.jones2@slt-leisure.co.uk with your HAF reference number, child's name, local authority name, and dates you require.
All eligible Free School Meals recipients across the City of Wolverhampton will have received their letter of eligibility containing their unique HAF code number this week. Children’s codes are also available from the dedicated HAF helpline (01902 916994) which is open Mondays to Thursdays 9am - 5pm and Fridays 9am - 4.30pm until 23 December.
