Headteacher's Blog

When I was lucky enough to become the Headteacher of this school, it was one of the proudest moments of my life and I genuinely look forward to coming to school each and every day to work with the greatest and most talented children and staff. No two days are ever the same and not a single day passes without lots of laughter inside our building. Never in my career, did I think that we would be facing the situation that we are in right now and I know that everyone is frightened and worried, including the staff who also have families to care for. I just wanted you to know that there is still fun and laughter inside our school, despite these scary times. Today, we have been gardening and creating rainbows and tomorrow we are going to paint a rainbow to be seen from Nettlefold's Park. 'Aunty Sheila', has baked us cakes to keep us going and we have had to do our Joe Wicks to burn off those calories! We all miss you lots and cannot wait to see you again as soon as this is all over, and it will be. Until then, please take care of yourselves and your loved ones, know that we are thinking of you all and don't hesitate to send us encouraging messages on our Facebook- we miss you and need your support too! School is eerily quiet right now and I can't wait until it is filled with the laughter of our children and the hustle and bustle that is our daily life in school.

With love from all of the Loxdale Team
