Last Wednesday Loxdale played its second home match of the season against Wilkinson Primary School. A school that is not too far away with pupils knowing one another, this was always going to be a tricky fixture. We knew we had to be strong at the back and front and play the ball well. Loxdale played well in some areas, never giving up, but the talent that Wilkinson brought with them was just one better than ours. With the score being 2-0 Wilkinson's at half time we knew we had work to do and for the first 5 minutes we dominated possession and played some very good football, but again with the opposition having slightly more talent, they scored two very good goals which we couldn't recover from. Overall Loxdale didn't give up and certainly made it a very entertaining and competitive match for those watching on. Thank you to all those parents and children who showed support at the game. Well Done Loxdale, we will go again next match 👏🙌
