I am a local father of two who has worked in education for 12 years. I have held the roles of teaching assistant and HLTA on my way to becoming a teacher, and currently teach maths at a local special school.
My experience in the classroom affords me an insider perspective on the pressures faced by school staff as they strive to do their best for our children, and a as a serving teacher I am aware of the changes in education policy that they have to navigate.
My eldest daughter Connie has recently started in Reception at Loxdale and her younger sister Emmie will hopefully attend nursery here from next September, meaning that I am invested in this school and will hopefully serve as parent governor for many years.
I have family roots in Bradley and I am proud to live here - we are blessed to have such a good school on our doorstep. Loxdale has already given my daughter a warm welcome and made her primary education start smoothly, and I look forward to supporting the staff and hard working parents alike as our children continue this journey together.
