What a ground-breaking half term of sport we have had at Loxdale. With our school football team playing its first football fixtures in nearly 3 years and our netball team playing its first ever competitive game, I’m sure you’ll agree our teams deserve a big Loxdale celebration! As well as that, our cross-country team have also been involved in warm up heats at Fordhouses Cricket club in preparation for the local qualification heats at Bilston C of E in February.
It doesn’t stop there, because in the new year, our children at Loxdale can look forward to basketball, hockey, athletics, tag-rugby, dodgeball, cricket and rounders tournaments too. In addition to the externally organised sport, we will also be providing internal opportunities for all of our children during PE lessons, lunch and after school clubs.
