Cancer Research Charity Fun Run at OSWBA

We were delighted to be invited by Ormiston SWB Academy to take part in their recent sponsored running event. A group of our Year 6 pupils, sporting their trainers and pink running gear, joined Mrs Briggs, Mrs Scott and Mr Brooke for a fantastic day, and we would like to thank Mr Mason, Principal of OSWBA, for including us. The event raised an incredible £7,344 on the day, which has since grown to over £21,000 after Mr Mason went on to run the London Marathon, continuing the school’s fundraising in memory of one of their former pupils who sadly passed away. Mr Mason shared that, “Since the passing of one of our former pupils, the community as a whole have come together in true ‘Bilston fashion’ to demonstrate a commitment to a cause which affects so many.” Well done to everyone at OSWBA, and thank you for letting us be part of such a meaningful and inspiring event.
