We are delighted to share some wonderful news with you!
Loxdale Primary School has been awarded the Alex Timpson ARC Attachment Award 2026 Regional Commendation in the Midlands Primary Category, a prestigious recognition that celebrates excellence in attachment-aware practice within schools and educational settings. This is a significant achievement for our school and one that we are incredibly proud to celebrate with our entire community.
The award recognises the dedication, passion and commitment shown by our staff in creating a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued and ready to learn. At Loxdale, we firmly believe that positive relationships are at the heart of successful learning and this commendation reflects the work that takes place every day to ensure our children feel understood, supported and able to thrive.
Over recent years, our attachment-aware approach has become embedded throughout school life. From the way we support children's emotional wellbeing and mental health, to the relationships we build with families and the wider community, our commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of every child remains central to everything we do.
This recognition is a real celebration of our whole school community; the strong partnerships we have with parents and carers, the resilience and enthusiasm shown by our pupils and the unwavering support from governors and external partners have all contributed to this achievement. Together, we have created a school culture where children are encouraged to flourish academically, socially and emotionally.
We would like to thank every member of our school community for their part in this journey. Your trust, support and collaboration help us to make a positive difference to the lives of our children each and every day.
