Parent Governor Vacancy – Get Involved!

We have an exciting opportunity for parents to become more involved in the life of our school by joining the Governing Board as a Parent Governor. The Governing Board plays a vital role in setting the school’s vision, supporting and challenging its work, and ensuring accountability.

We are seeking nominations from parents or carers who are interested in helping the school continue to thrive. You do not need to be an expert in education – just bring your interest in the school, a willingness to get involved, and whatever skills you have. We especially welcome candidates with experience in education, finance, health and safety, or safeguarding, but all interested parents are encouraged to apply.

The role includes attending three termly meetings, making formal and informal school visits, and taking part in training and monitoring activities. In return, the Governing Board offers a structured induction, access to quality training, and mentoring from an experienced governor.

Nominations must be received by 31st October 2025.
