Year 5 Pine have had a fantastic home cinema afternoon! Feeling elfy!

Year 5 Pine are Christmas Party Ready! We are having an excellent Grinchmas Day so far!

This week, Year 5 Pine have created some amazing pieces of homework all about the Vikings. We have had all sorts of projects completed, from letters and fact files to settlement models and armour! Well done Year 5, your efforts blow us away every week!

Year 5 enjoyed their visit from our very own Super Space Scientist, Rhyder, yesterday afternoon. Rhyder loves everything Space and has been working hard to create a presentation for Year 5, in order to kick start their new science unit. Well done, Rhyder, from all of Year 5!

Year 5 have worked so hard to develop their drawn ideas through printmaking. Their results have blown us away! Well done!

Today, we celebrated " TTRS Day." The children in Y5 had lots of fun dressing up as Rockstars and Popstars whilst also having the chance to take part in various times table challenges throughout the day.

Year 5 enjoyed their movie afternoon that was won out the vending machine for their attendance. This included popcorn and hot chocolate.

Our Year 5 historians have been hard at work this week investigating Viking trading routes - exploring what goods were traded and the impact this had on communities. Using maps, they traced the key trading routes and identified the items exchanged across regions. To conclude their enquiry, pupils used evidence to answer the question: “What was the significance of trading upon the Viking community?” They have truly impressed us with their historical thinking and analytical wri
