KS2 Stringcredibles
This morning, Years 3,4 and 5 had a visit from the ‘Stringcredibles’. They taught us all about migration through the story of a butterfly. We have had a fantastic morning learning all about different clothing, food and faiths from around the world. Ask us all about it!

Monty's Early Christmas

Elf Day Reminder
As a reminder, tomorrow (Friday 19th December) is Elf Day! Everyone is welcome to come to school dressed as an elf 🎄⭐️ Tomorrow is also the last day of school (for every year group except Nursery, who finish today) and children will be finishing at 1pm tomorrow!

Christmas Dates Reminder
We hope everyone is looking forward to the holidays! ❤️ As a reminder, Nursery breaks up tomorrow (Thursday 18th December) after their Christmas party 🕺✨. Everyone else (Reception – Year 6) break up the day after (Friday 19th December) at 1pm. Friday will also be Elf Day, where children can come to school dressed as elves! Christmas Tree Festival at St Leonards Church
Mrs Flitcroft enjoyed her annual visit to St Leonard’s Church today to decorate Loxdale Primary School’s tree for the Christmas Tree Festival. Don’t forget — the Bilston Light Switch-On event is tomorrow, and you can vote for our tree! Loxdale Choir will also be performing some wonderful Christmas songs to spread festive cheer at 1pm. 35th Diversity Celebration Event
On Monday 10th November, our choir attended the 35th Diversity Celebration event at The Halls in Wolverhampton, where they took to the stage and performed "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten in front of an audience of over 2,000 people! The choir did Loxdale proud—as they always do—with their outstanding performance, impeccable behaviour, and positive attitude throughout the event. Nursery Acorns
This week we celebrated Nursery Rhyme Week! We enjoyed a variety of nursery rhyme themed activities, including building a wall with construction materials for Humpty Dumpty, learning numbers up to 5 with our "Five Little Speckled Frogs," baking five currant buns in our roleplay bakery shop, and singing "The Wheels on the Bus" in our new transport area. It's been a fantastic week full of fun and learning!
