Christmas Tree Festival at St Leonards Church
Mrs Flitcroft enjoyed her annual visit to St Leonard’s Church today to decorate Loxdale Primary School’s tree for the Christmas Tree Festival. Don’t forget — the Bilston Light Switch-On event is tomorrow, and you can vote for our tree! Loxdale Choir will also be performing some wonderful Christmas songs to spread festive cheer at 1pm. We’d love to see as many of you there as possible — your support would mean so much to us! 🎅🎄.

35th Diversity Celebration Event
On Monday 10th November, our choir attended the 35th Diversity Celebration event at The Halls in Wolverhampton, where they took to the stage and performed "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten in front of an audience of over 2,000 people! The choir did Loxdale proud—as they always do—with their outstanding performance, impeccable behaviour, and positive attitude throughout the event. A huge thank you to all our parents and carers who came along; your support means the world to us! A

Own Clothes Day
Next Friday (21st November), children are invited to come to school in their own clothes! In exchange, we’re kindly asking if children could bring in a donation of chocolate on the day.

Nursery Acorns
This week we celebrated Nursery Rhyme Week! We enjoyed a variety of nursery rhyme themed activities, including building a wall with construction materials for Humpty Dumpty, learning numbers up to 5 with our "Five Little Speckled Frogs," baking five currant buns in our roleplay bakery shop, and singing "The Wheels on the Bus" in our new transport area. It's been a fantastic week full of fun and learning!

Children in Need
As a reminder, tomorrow (Friday 14th November) is Children in Need day! 🔴🟢 All children are invited to come to school in their own clothes tomorrow and we will also be collecting voluntary donations for Children in Need for anyone who wishes to donate. We will be doing Children in Need themed activities throughout the day, so we hope everyone will have lots of fun! ❤️

Times Tables Rock Stars (TTRS)

This Friday (7th November) is TT Rock Stars Day in school! 🎸⚡️ Children are invited to come to school dressed as rock stars! Think leather jackets, sunglasses, funky hairstyles, etc. (no need to buy anything new - homemade outfits are perfect!)
