To finish their leadership unit in PE, Year 4 Rowan put their new skills into practice by teaching Year 2 Sycamore a range of fun games and activities. The children demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and teamwork as they explained the rules, organised the games and encouraged the younger pupils to take part. Yesterday, Year 2 became bird experts as they investigated how different bird beaks are adapted for collecting food. Using tweezers, pegs and spoons to represent different types of beaks, the children worked hard to pick up rice and pom poms, discovering which "beaks" were best suited to different foods.
