In Year 3, we have started to compare and group different kinds of rocks for our new science topic.

This week has been an exciting first week back we have started a new topic called 'into the woods'. We have been learning all about woodland animals and can even talk about animals that hibernate. In topic today we had lots of fun planting a bulb we then had a go at drawing and labelling as well as talking about what it needs to survive. Take a look.

This morning, Years 3,4 and 5 had a visit from the ‘Stringcredibles’. They taught us all about migration through the story of a butterfly. We have had a fantastic morning learning all about different clothing, food and faiths from around the world. Ask us all about it!

This afternoon, Year 4 Spruce started their D&T project which is to design and make a biscuit. But of course, to make a great tasting biscuit, we must first try some. Ask them what their favourite was!

What a fantastic festive week we have had in school. We have performed in our carol concert, celebrated at our parties and finished the week off dressed as elves. Take a look here! Year 2 are having a great day for elf day today, we have been watching Elf, Christmas colouring and doing all things elfie! We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!

Year 2 Oak had a wonderful time at our Christmas party. We played pass the parcel, had party snacks, met Santa and had a little Christmas boogie. Take a look at some of the fun we had.

Year 1 Elm enjoyed a fantastic Christmas party. The children had lots of fun playing party games, singing and dancing and eating some very delicious food. They also met Santa ! 🎁🎉

Year 5 Pine have had a fantastic home cinema afternoon! Feeling elfy!

Christmas has come early for Monty 🐾 He has been spoiled by Year 2 this morning and loved every second of it. He has worked super hard so we will think Santa will allow it. 🎅 A big thank you to all of the children and staff 🎄

Reception have been busy practising their dance moves for their Christmas party later on today. We're so excited!

As a reminder, tomorrow (Friday 19th December) is Elf Day! Everyone is welcome to come to school dressed as an elf 🎄⭐️ Tomorrow is also the last day of school (for every year group except Nursery, who finish today) and children will be finishing at 1pm tomorrow!

Yesterday, Year 1 Ash had an absolutely magical Christmas party!The children enjoyed a festive afternoon filled with tasty snacks, lots of dancing at our Christmas disco, and a very special visit from Santa himself! 🎁🎉 Smiles, laughter, and Christmas cheer all around ❤️
