Year 5 Coreography

Y4 Rowan - Safer Internet Day

Y2 Oak - Safer Internet Day
Today, Year 2 Oak took part in Safer Internet Day , and we had a fantastic time learning all about how to stay safe online. The children explored what AI (Artificial Intelligence) is and why it’s important to use technology responsibly. We talked about how AI can help us but also why we must always make sensible choices when using devices and the internet.

Basketball Competition
Yesterday, a group of our Year 3 and 4 learners visited Moseley Park School to compete in a basketball tournament. The children played excellently as a team and showed fantastic Romeo Resilience! Due to their amazing COJOE characteristics the children came third place in the competition! Well done Team Loxdale!!

Y5 Cedar computing week
During this week we learnt how to code crumble boards to make a carousel, we used a motor, sparkle board and a switch. We also got to design our own carousel, take a look at how we got on.

Year 6 - Computing
On Monday and Tuesday, the class took part in an exciting Computing Day where pupils put their coding skills to the test. They worked through a series of programming challenges, using block-based and text-based coding to design, build, and control their very own robots. It was a fun, hands‑on experience that helped everyone grow in confidence and creativity while exploring the world of robotics.
