Reception Willow - Christmas Activities
WOW well what a busy week it has been in Reception Willow. We hope you enjoyed watching us perform in our first ever sing a long we sure had lots of fun and rehearsed hard. Today we have been getting into the festive spirit in our Christmas jumpers and enjoyed a lovely Christmas lunch. We have been doing a range of Christmas activities in class whilst our elf played lots of tricks. Have a lovely long weekend.

What an unforgettable time we had on our residential! From clay making and peg orienteering to exploring the natural world, every moment was packed with fun and learning. Y4 Spruce - Virtual Reality
Yesterday, Year 4 Spruce had a fantastic opportunity to step into the future with Virtual Reality Headsets! The children were able to explore the rainforest and various animals through virtual reality. The interactive experience sparked curiosity, creativity and lots of smiles. It was wonderful to see them learning in such an engaging and immersive way. Thank you to Mr Ashton who led the session, the children thoroughly enjoyed it.

Christmas Tree Festival at St Leonards Church
Mrs Flitcroft enjoyed her annual visit to St Leonard’s Church today to decorate Loxdale Primary School’s tree for the Christmas Tree Festival. Don’t forget — the Bilston Light Switch-On event is tomorrow, and you can vote for our tree! Loxdale Choir will also be performing some wonderful Christmas songs to spread festive cheer at 1pm. Y4 Rowan - Perimeter
Today in maths, Year 4 Rowan explored perimeter! The children used pieces of string to measure and compare the perimeter of different shapes. It was fantastic to see them predicting, measuring, and checking their ideas!

35th Diversity Celebration Event
On Monday 10th November, our choir attended the 35th Diversity Celebration event at The Halls in Wolverhampton, where they took to the stage and performed "Fight Song" by Rachel Platten in front of an audience of over 2,000 people! The choir did Loxdale proud—as they always do—with their outstanding performance, impeccable behaviour, and positive attitude throughout the event. Year 3 Beech
WOW! What a busy week Year 3 have had. Last Friday, we celebrated Rockstar Day and all came dressed as rockstars to promote our times tables. This week has been Anti-Bullying Week, during which we wore odd socks and learnt all about how we can tackle bullying at Loxdale. Finally, we celebrated Children in Need!
